RULES
COMPETITION AIM
To provide members with the opportunity to participate in a team competition
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Teamwork, fun, personal development.
1.
REPRESENTATION
1.1 Entry limit to two teams per club. Please enter by giving the name/s of your team/s captains and their
mobile number. The leagues will be drawn up and the details sent out to captains once all entries have been
received.
2.
ELIGIBILITY
2.1. The team must consist of 6 members, all of whom must be 26 years of age or under on 1 September 2015 and
a full member of a Club affiliated to the NFYFC. The team must include a minimum of 2 females.
3.
PROCEDURE
3.1 Matches will consist of five games consisting of three doubles games of 601, and two team games of 1001
commencing with a straight start (no double needed), games will finish on a double and be run on a league basis.
3.2 Each game won will count one point in the league table. All games in each match to be played as the winner
of each league is the team which has won the most games.
3.3 In the event of points being equal, the team having won most matches will win. If still equal, the team winning
the fixture between the clubs concerned will go forward.
3.4 League and fixtures will be arranged after the entries have been received and details will be sent to Team
Captains and Club Secretaries.
4.
Home Team Captains must inform Carly Hall (Competitions Secretary) the result within four days of the match.

5.
Home Team Captains must arrange venues/facilities and should confirm with other Captains the arrangements
beforehand. Matches to be played by dates stated.
6.
If any team fails to fulfil a fixture without good reason, they will forfeit the match.
7.
Any dispute, teams failing to arrive, unable to play matches on dates stated, should be referred to the Competitions
Secretary.
8.
ALL MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED BY FRIDAY 16th DECEMBER 2016, OTHERWISE THE HOME TEAMS WHO FAIL TO
PLAY BY THIS DATE WILL BE INSTANTLY DISQUALIFIED.
9.
A total of 4 teams will go through to the Finals.
10.
Clubs will gain points towards the Chalmers Shield.
