RCPLUS Sound Editor User Manual
Sound editor feature now is on RC PLUS，it allows users get any sound that you like into ESS
products. RCPLUS Sound Editor makes more personalize on your models.
RCPLUS Version：V1.6.0
Before use Sound editor you need to update RC PLUS to newest version V1.6.0. After open
RCPLUS, the software will automatically prompt update. Only few steps you will done with the
update. ( To doing this you need to connect with good internet connection)
RCPLUS window：Click on sound editor (The one with red box in the picture)
Then it will bring to Select Resource Type screen
Custom for cars: Aux channel sound editor for cars（ESS PRO/ESS ONE+）
Custom for aircrafts: Aux channel sound editor for aircrafts (ESS AIR)
（We use custom for cars as an example, you can use the same steps for aircraft as well）
1． Click on custom icon under For Cars then click on OK. It will bring you to windows Resource
Manager. Next you need find sound file you wish to use, click on that file then click open.

Sound editor will transfer the file you wish to use into RCX file. After it gets done you will see
a small window which showing in the picture below. It also tells you where the new file
located is.
The file ending with rcx is the AUX channel file

Connect ESS equipment to RCPLUS software ( We use ESS ONE+Car1 as an example）
Select car 1 ( Red boxed)

Under Sound Component we see 4 options then click on change from the 4 th option (Red
box)

Click on From flie under the Select Resource

Select the rcx file then click open

Well done, enjoy with your new sound.
