What are the benefits of a rotation model?
There are many! But the biggest benefit is that Deep Blue Rotation Stations take into
account various learning styles and interests to provide a fun, yet in-depth approach to a
specific Bible story.
How many stations are there?
Seven for each story: art, cooking, games, missions, science, spiritual practices, and
storytelling/drama. One unit can last up to seven weeks, but the program is flexible.
Won’t this make it more difficult to find volunteers? Will I have to find
artists, chefs, etc.?
Just the opposite— beyond having a heart for kids, no specialized skill sets are required.
Each station has been carefully planned, so volunteers have a worry-free experience and
join the fun.
Do they rotate within each session, or... ?
Learners rotate to a different station each week—not within each session. For example, one
group will spend class time at the art station, and move to the cooking station or another
station the next session. The number of stations you want to provide for each Bible story is
entirely up to you. Each station has been planned for approximately one hour, but it’s flexible
enough to accommodate different timeframes.
What age groups will have the rotation model option?
There are Deep Blue Rotation stations for all children grades K–5. You may select options
for younger elementary, older elementary, or for all age groups.
What if my Deep Blue Kids program is held on Wednesday nights?
We get this question a lot! Deep Blue Rotation Stations are versatile enough to use for
Wednesday night and even summer programming. The materials and plans are intentionally
robust so churches can tailor it to fit their specific needs. Among churches, no two Deep
Blue Kids programs are the same!
Are you recycling activities?
There are no repeats—the activities are always new.
Do I have to purchase all seven stations?
Complete units are $99 (for all seven stations) or stations may be purchased a la carte for
$19.99 each.
