Seaton Valley Make-a-Move! Programme of Community Activities Autumn (Sept - Dec) 2013 Activities for Children and Adults in Seaton Valley, Helping the community to live active and healthy lives! Childrens Activities Tennis 4 All - Tennis is a great game you can play whatever your age or ability. This free activity gives you the opportunity to give it a go! Suitable for adults and children. All equipment is provided. Club 6 - 10 - A youth club for children aged between 6 and 10 years, with a wide range of fun activities available including playground games, sports and craft. There is a charge of 50p per child to cover costs of craft materials and a tuck shop is available for drinks and snacks. Hoop Homies -This class works on basic Hula hooping skills, hoop tricks and hoop dance! This free activity is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Boxercise - Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes involve a variety of activities which might include shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout. This free activity is suitable for children aged between 6 – 16 years. Skipping Club - This activity is great fun and helps to keep fit and healthy. It is suitable for children of all ages (6-16yrs) and is free of charge. Adult Activities Just Jhoom - Inspired by the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, this is a brand new form of dancercise that’s energetic and a great way to keep fit! Zumba Gold® - This class targets and suits the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, such as salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves and the party-like atmosphere. It’s a dancefitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun. Buggy Fit Boot Camp - This is an activity for parents with babies in buggies who want to get more active. If you need ‘gentle encouragement’ to push yourself, then this could be the class for you! Young at Heart - Over 50’s Gentle Exercise Class. Everyone welcome! All abilities and fitness levels catered for.
