Cow GamePeek a Who- Split group into two teams, with each team sitting behind one
side of a sheet or tarp. One person from each team should be facing the
sheet. When the sheet is raised (one person should be holding the sheet on
each side to lift it), the first team to say the name of the other player gets
that player on their team. The game is over when everyone is on the same
side.
Indy 500- The group should be sitting in a circle, and counted off 1-4. Each
number is assigned the name of a car. The leader calls a name of a car and
those cars have to get up and run around the circle, the first person back to
their spot wins. The leader can also choose to call out car difficulties such
as: flat tire (hop around on one foot), run out of gas (crab walk), no muffler
(noisy), turbo boost (run!!).
Design your own country- Each student can use various art supplies to
design their own country.
Detective BingoAnimal Game- One player is selected or volunteered as It. Each person
chooses a different animal and calls out their choice to the group. One player
starts the game by calling that their animal likes a different animal (“Dogs
like Cows!”). Whoever is It tries to tag this animal (the cow) before they can
shout out that their animal likes another (“Cows like Horses!”). If a player is
tagged before they do this, they become It.
Name Poems- Students build a poem using the initials of their name as the
first letter of each line.

AdaptationsMe We- Everyone sits in a circle, and the leader or another person is chosen
to begin. The first person starts by making any noise they would like
accompanied by a movement, then everyone repeats the noise and
movement at once. Continue by going around the circle, the game can be as
silly or calm as students want.
Phase Ten Card Game- Instructions included with game.
Bounce the BallFrogs, Insects, Flowers- Divide the group into three circles, one inside of
the next. The outer circle will be flowers, and they remain stationary. The
players in the inner most circle are insects, and begin with one knee on the
ground. The middle circle are frogs, they begin standing. When it is time to
start, the insects have ten seconds to tag a flower. Insects can avoid being
tagged by a frog by ‘flying’ (touching one knee to the ground). Frogs can
‘follow’ the insect by turning in a complete circle, when the insect can run
away. After each short round, animals who haven’t been tagged remain the
same animal, animals who were tagged become whatever animal tagged
them.
Leaf Collage- Students collect leaves and create a collage or picture out of
them by gluing them on to paper.
