Ingram Content Group’s publish-on-demand platform enables publishers to deliver content worldwide to
readers in print and electronic formats. The service, which is tailored to the specific needs of the small
independent publisher, streamlines the sales, account setup, content management, and customer support
activities through a self-service, online platform. It’s free to set up an account. All you need to get
started is an email address, print ready PDFs for print titles, EPUB and JPEG for the e-books, an ISBN,
and a credit card.
APSS publisher members qualify for the following discounted rates by entering the discount code during
the account set-up process:
 $37.50 for Print + Electronic title set-up (when done simultaneously)

$37.50 for a Print book

$20 for e-book only

$12 market access fee
Titles are eligible for automatic free set-up with an initial order of 50-plus copies. When a print order is
placed for 50 copies within 60 days of title set-up, the customer will receive a refund.
APSS members will also receive the following Publisher Direct volume discounts on their initial and
reprint orders for new titles by entering the discount code each time an order is placed:

All publishers who are members of APSS are eligible to receive the discounts above.

Publishers must mention that they are a member of APSS (the APSS will be responsible
for communicating this to their members) when setting up their account or by notifying
their sales representative at Lightning Source.

New APSS publishers will not be automatically set up for this promotion; it is important
they notify their sales rep or new account representative at Lightning Source of their
APSS membership. APSS publishers that sign up for IngramSpark will need to add the
promotion code during the account set up process and when they place an order.
Distribution through Partners Publishers Group
Partners Publishers Group (PPG) will reduce its standard discount of 65% from retail to 62% for a
period of 1 year from the date an APSS member signs a distribution agreement with PPG. At the end
of the first year, both parties will have the mutual option to continue under PPG’s standard terms.
PPG has been in the book distribution business since 1997. It provides broad distribution into the
wholesale and retail trade with Ingram, Baker & Taylor, American West Books, independent
bookstores and chains such as Barnes & Noble, bn.com and amazon.com Our warehouse is located

PPG will distribute single title publishers but reserves the right to reject publishers whose production
standards, formats and genre categories are not an effective fit.
