Clay Pigeon Raceway have organised a series of races open to teams of 1,2,3,4 drivers.
These will be run on the following dates:

WEDNESDAY 19TH JULY
WEDNESDAY 23RD AUGUST
FEE: £110 per team
(Cheques to be made payable to Clay Pigeon Raceway)
Payment due 7 days before event to
guarantee team place.
AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded to the first to third teams per event.
POINTS TO OVERALL SUMMER CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP:
1 point for last, 2 points for second to last and so on and so forth up to first place.
Bonus point will be awarded to the winning team of each round, together with a bonus
point for pole position and the fastest RACE lap.
OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The winner of the overall championship will be the team scoring the most points over
the three rounds. A runners up trophy will also be presented.
**Tie breaks will be resolved by the finishing position in the last round.
DRIVER QUALIFICATION: The events are open to drivers over the age 18. However
drivers who have reached the age of 16 may compete if their competence to drive can
be proved.
All drivers will compete on karts supplied by the circuit and each team will draw for
their kart at signing on at each event. The will be no selection of karts by any team.
Helmets, overalls and gloves will be supplied. However, if you wish to use your own
protective equipment you may do so at the discretion of the organisers.
PRACTICE: Practice will be of a 20 minute duration and every member of your team
must complete at least 3 laps. During practice your lap times will be recorded and the
fastest lap time achieved by any of your team drivers will decide your team’s starting
grid position. The team with the fastest lap time will start on pole, the team with the
second fastest qualifying lap will start on grid 2 and so on and so forth.
The race will run for 1hr 20 minutes during which the teams must take at least 3 driver
changes. The driver strategy will be at the discretion of the team manager. There will
be no refuelling stops. The winner will be the team that completes the most laps in 1hr
20 minutes.
The organisers will have the right to amend these regulations at short notice but, will
inform all teams of there decision.
DRIVERS BRIEFING:
All drivers and team managers must attend the drivers briefing.
Save yourself money and book all three events for £300.
ENTRIES: Will be prioritised to teams who wish to compete in the full series. All
teams wishing to do only the one round will be able to enter 2 weeks before the
first round. Those teams competing in the first round will be given preference on
entries for the second and third rounds, providing their entries are
received 7 days before the event.
Due to teams booking into events and not turning
up, payment is due 7 days before event to enable
reserve teams to be booked.
ENTRY: Minimum of 8 teams and a maximum of 16 teams.
