Burl-Oak Theatre Group (BOTG) is a not-for-profit volunteer community theatre group that has performed in
the Oakville area, for about 40 years, at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.
For the past three years, BOTG has produced Entertaining Shorts, a showcase of emerging local talent
in writing, acting, directing, and producing. This event features several one-act plays written by both
student and adult playwrights and all are performed at the Black Box Theatre in the Queen Elizabeth Park
Community and Cultural Centre.
