Max –
a game with two dice
Preparations
• You need a dice cup and two dice.
• There‘s no limit to the number of players.
• You just have to be the best bluffer around
the table. 
How to play the game
• Roll the dice. Take a secret look at your
result and then tell your result to the player
next to you.
• Then the next player rolls the dice. The
aim of the game is to get a higher result
than the one before.
• Your result is not shown to the others until
they mistrust you.  Then the dice are
revealed.

The highest result that cannot be beaten is MAX:
Tricks?!
• If you roll the dice and are a fortunate player, you may always score
a higher result. Good luck for you!
• If you roll the dice and do not score a higher result, you need to be a
great bluffer! Pretend and say any better result you might think of. If
the player next to you trusts you, good luck for you. If not, he reveals
your dice result– and then BAD LUCK for you. You get one penalty
point.
• If you roll the dice and do not score a higher result, you can roll the
dice again and hand the dice cup to your neighbour without having
seen it. You say a fancy result. If he trusts you, GOOD LUCK for
you, if he doesn‘t trust you, BAD LUCK for you and you get a
penalty point.You get the penalty point if you cannot foretell the
exact result.
• MAX is the result that cannot be beaten by any others.
• The player who is the first to get five penalty points is the loser.
The player with the least penalty points is the winner.
