We'll also share poetry and see if we can get our creative juices flowing. We will do a little brainstorming for future writing groups, and work on outlining short stories about our life experiences. Hosted by Lori and Suzanne April 28 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Music and Social Club is a place to gather, play games and share gifts (musical or otherwise), with friends and community members. Using a multi-media approach (video clips, art, poetry, self reflection and discussion), the workshop offers opportunities to examine your own experiences of being the hero in your life. The class offers opportunities for sharing and gaining insight into your life and work experiences. You will be transformed with new insight, inspiration and renewal. The Windhorse community — clients, families, and staff — came together to explore and celebrate our various identities, experiences, and perspectives. It was a great turn out, full of thoughtful conversation. We appreciate all who were able to attend, and hope the tradition of Diversity Dinners continues to deepen our compassion and understanding of ourselves and others.
