Competition Rules
1. Full match fees must be paid for each game regardless of how many players are in the team.
2. Match fees must be paid prior to taking the court.
3. Team captains must fill out the players’ names on the scoresheet.
4. Games run in 50 min timeslots which feature a 4 min warm up , 2 halves of 22 mins and a 2 min half time .
5. Games will finish on time. Any delays in starting each half will not added onto the game time.
6. This is a mixed competition ,therefore each team should have 2 females on court at all times .If a full team
has only 1 female they will be penalised 7 points per half, if they have no female players they will be
penalised 12 points per half. If a team has less than 6 players then at least 1 must be female otherwise the 7
point penalty per half will apply.
7. Players must play a minimum of 3 games to be eligible for finals games.
8. A Grade players are not eligible for B grade Finals
9. If a B Grade team uses a player from an A grade team they will be penalised 5 points per half. This is in
addition to any penalties applied by rule 3.
10. There are unlimited substitutions allowed.
11. There is no jump serving.
12. If a server scores 5 points in a row the serving team will automatically rotate so there is a new server.
13. This is a Social competition. Please show respect to your fellow competitors and Referees.
