High Impact Strategies A Training to Support the Learning-Focused Schools Model The session is completely revised to include: Learning Focused Overview (language and planning format) Connection to the Educator Effectiveness System in PA (Danielson Framework) Overview of PA Core Standards (shifts) Active Engagement/Formative Assessment Strategies modeled throughout Certification in Mandated Reporter (three hour training required for all school employees). Under work address fill in your home address. •Once registered you will receive an email in order to create a username and password •Return to http://48carats.caiu.org and enter login information •Once information is verified click Session List •Choose the session(s) you wish to attend •Choose payment method (bring cash/check to session/invoice) •Enter college name in the comments box Secondly, all sessions will be held at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit. The benefits of this are: There will be additional support by our staff when students are designing lessons in the LFS format (at least 4 consultants/trainers in the room to provide feedback to students) Students will have multiple options for attending – all students can register for any session. Students will interact with students from other universities in the region.
