PART-TIME GAME OPERATIONS INTERN
Report to the Director of Game Day Operations
The Sioux Falls Canaries are looking for a talented, outgoing, and energetic individuals to assist
with all home games during the 2017 baseball season. These individuals will support the organization’s
key objectives, which are to increase fan experience, guest services, and position the organization for
another successful season. This is a season, part-time position, working only during the baseball season.
The regular season runs from May 20th to September 2nd, and includes fifty (50) home games.
The internship duties include, but are not limited to, the following:






Working every Canaries home game (50 games - May 20th thru September 2nd)
Assisting in setting up Sioux Falls Stadium before each home game
Running in-game promotions on the field and in the stands
Providing exceptional customer service to all fans
Overseeing respective areas of game operations
Ensuring that each fan enjoys their experience at the Birdcage
What we expect from you:





You are an extension of the Canaries Front Office, and we expect you to represent the
organization professionally
Full commitment to work all 50 home games (determined by school start/end dates)
Be committed to learn about the sports industry
Offer suggestions on creative ways we can do better
HAVE FUN and enjoy your summer at the ball park!
*Must be enrolled in college, or have already graduated
*Internship can (but does not have to) be used for school credit
*This position is un-paid, but does allow time to have a second job.
