Although it has passed and was a great success and it is all behind us I would just like to share with
you ladies, the lovely comments we had about the high afternoon tea. As everyone has said it was
such a pleasure to attend and they went away feeling good about the lovely time they had with us.
So no doubt we will put on another one.

Thank you so much it takes time but at the same time we are seen to be out in the community
making ourselves available.
Our next fundraiser is at Queens Birthday Weekend it is going to be a big Lego/Brick Show weekend.
Carmen has been busy helping put this together and should be a very good show. Lego is a huge hit
now with young and old it must be seen to be believed what can be made from this. There will be
plenty to see and talk about. Jimmy Paton from Clinton is supporting us with this Brick weekend he
is from Lego User Group Otago. This has been all planned and will be held in the Memorial Hall
Balclutha. All we are asking you to do if possible is, we could do with a loaf or biscuits to feed the
Exhibitors. If you could see your way clear to help us in this small way please give your name to
Carmen. The committee members have kindly offered to do a lot of it but we would like to give the
members a chance to help as well if they can. If you would like to know more we will talk about this
at our meeting night.
We have several visitors coming on our meeting night to receive the cheques we are donating. You
have all worked so hard towards the money we are giving to these community organisations and for
this we thank you.
I would like to Congratulate Christine, she has just become a celebrant and has officiated at her first
wedding. I am sure you will join with me and wish her well.
There has been a lot of sadness in South Otago lately may I say on behalf of the Inner Wheel club of
Balclutha our sympathy goes out to the families amongst us. This is a small town and it affects
everyone. Anyone who has been unwell we send our love and positive thoughts.
Coffee Afternoon; 30th of May at 3pm at Heart and Soul.
Coffee Morning will be on the 17th June at Café 55 at 10am.
Come along and have a chat with your Inner Wheel Friends. You can always
bring a friend if you wish.
