Dear Parent/Carer,
It is less than 2 weeks to our residential visit to Butlins Skegness. We leave school on Monday 19 th
June and return on Friday 23rd June.
Please find enclosed the standard medical form. Please can you fill in and return to school before
Monday 12th June. If your son/daughter requires medication during the visit please send it in the
original labelled container on the day we go with full instructions and staff will keep it safe.
I have also enclosed a guide of what they will need for the week. Please send a small case or bag
with all their belongings in. We will be staying in Silver accommodation which comprises of twin
rooms. Boys and girls will be in separate rooms. Please note if your son/daughter occasionally
wets the bed it is the parents responsibility to send suitable bedding/pull ups as required.
Please provide your son/daughter a packed lunch and drinks for the journey to Skegness on
Monday 19th June. If your son/daughter has free school dinners then a packed lunch will be
provided.
They will require a small amount of spending money for any extra ice-cream, drinks, and
souvenirs. I recommend no more than £15 in a purse/wallet.
Weather permitting we are hoping to spend some time on the beach, walk/drive into the local
town, watch the entertainment in the evenings, have fun in the swimming pool on site and take
part in the Butlins daytime activities.
