Minnie Made a Mistake

Minnie the Monkey lived at home with her sisters and
their dad.
Some days were good, others were bad.
One day Minnie was playing with her toys all alone,
When all of a sudden, in came her sister Joan.
Joan wanted to play with the toys as well.
Minnie said, “No! Go away! You smell!”
Minnie’s dad came into her room.
“Something bad happened with your sister, I assume?”
Minnie told her dad she made a mistake!
The world was over, and her heart began to ache.
“Don’t worry my dear Minnie, This can all be fixed!
We just have to come up with some solutions real
quick! ”
Sorry!
“I could say sorry and that I didn’t mean to hurt her
feelings.”
Minnie could already feel her sore heart healing.
When you make a mistake, the day is not done.
Just remember these solutions and you can keep
having fun!
When you would like something, always say please.
If you want to play a game, you can play together with
ease!
Trade if you would like a different toy,
And always be kind to the other girls and boys!
Get a teacher if there’s something wrong,
And always take turns to make your friendships
strong!
I’ve made a mistake, and that’s okay!
Now I have to find my sister and play!
