All rights reserved Before we begin Creative shops can attach an ad to an agency, campaign or placement! Meaning: There’s no need for a placement to be created or even a campaign so that the media agency can see the ad. This dismisses the dependency between the media and the creative work. © 2008 Eyeblaster. Not attached to campaign, placement nor media account (if created by a creative agency) Not Attached Not attached to a placement An ad which was just attached to a media account or to a campaign will still remain in the ‘Not Attached’ status. Attached An ad that was attached to a placement. Rejected Be either site or agency Published By agency Pending for site approval Specific accounts that will use the old publisher process in the new system until October 4th Live An enabled ad which is attached to a live placement. The process of attaching ads to all the placements in the campaign • What’s new? • Creative shops can now attach ads to agency/ campaign/ placement. There’s no need to create a placement or even a campaign for the ad to be available to the agency!! • This applies only in cases where both Creative and Media work on MediaMind • You can set the optimization when attaching the ads – huge time saver!! All rights reserved Attach Creative to Placements • What has changed? • In the attachment process, you will only see placement types that support the selected ad(s) (meaning that the ad format matches the placement type) and has the same ad dimensions (filters can be changed manually). • Attaching: All ads will be attached at the end of the process Placement 1 • Contains original ad Placement 2 Placement 3 • • Contains copy of the ad • Contains copy of the ad Copying: Will create an unattached copy of the ad. © 2008 Eyeblaster. All rights reserved How and when to access this feature? • Where: Ad’s list > Attach When: When a creative shop has not attached the ads to a campaign (before the campaign was created) • Where: Campaigns list > Creative tab > Attach When: Ads are attached to a campaign – recommended use for mass attachment • Where: Edit Palcement > Creative tab > Attach When: Small tweaking when additional placements/ ads have been created later on in the process How do I know if an ad needs to be attached? If it’s not attached – it will say “ad” Bread crumbs for easier navigation The name of the ad, and the campaign it belongs to. If it’s not attached – only the ad name Either thumbnails view or list. The default is thumbnails, except for placement. In thumbnails – displays the default image, or second frame of the asset (in case there is no default image) © 2008 Eyeblaster. Banners of your campaign in one go, with just a press of a button • Why do we need it? How many of your clients have to create the Std. Banners for their campaigns? How do they find them? Std. Banners are usually created by media agencies. Media users need a quick, easy and non-creative oriented way to do this. © 2008 Eyeblaster. All rights reserved Mass Creation of Standard Banners • How does it work? • Media agency needs to receive from the Creative agency a folder with all the assets for the Std. Banners - assets include a jpg. & swf. (or only a jpg.) with a matching name • Upload the folder for creative assets (this can be done also while creating the Std. Banners) • The system scans the folder for matching names (jpg. & swf.) and creates an ad for each • You can add a clickthrough to all the ads in one go Now let’s see the wonder work! © 2008 Eyeblaster.
