Using RefWorks Downloading Write-N-Cite Eastern Washington University Libraries Under “Tools” select “Write-N-Cite First, copy the login code and paste it into a Word or Notepad document. (You’ll need this after downloading Write-N-Cite.) If you don’t know if you have the 32bit or 64 bit version of MS Office, click on this link and follow the easy instructions Click on the “Download Now” button for the MS Office version you have Mac users should click on the Write-N-Cite for Mac link. Choose the version best for you. Firefox will return this box. 1. Click on the “Save file” button. Firefox 2) Select where to save the file and click on the “Save” button. Firefox 3) Find the file you just saved and double-click on it Firefox 4) Click on the “Run” button and follow instructions Internet Explorer will return this box. 1) Click on the “Save” button. Internet Explorer 2) Click on the “Run” button and follow instructions. The InstallShield Wizard will appear. Click on “Next” and follow instructions In MS Office, you now have a “RefWorks” tab. Click on the tab Click on “Log In” 1) Paste in the Login Code you copied earlier 2) Click the “Login” button It may take a little while for Word to download your RefWorks database the first time you login.
