The role TPRDA horses willingly perform
is both mentally and physically challenging.
It is vital the horse receives a high standard
of care and training.
Horse Sponsorship is an important way that you
can help offset the substantial expense involved in
caring for our unique and special horses.
Sponsorship ensures that Totara Park RDA will
continue to serve the needs of local riders with
disabilities, into the future.
Make sure our 4 legged therapists
are kept in 'tiptop' shape.
We only ask for a small portion of the
$8,000 it costs TPRDA per horse per year.

Q. Can I choose which horse I sponsor?
A. Yes you can, subject to your chosen horse being currently unsponsored.
We’d be delighted to tell you about our horses to help you choose.
Q. After paying the sponsorship money, do I own the horse?
A. No, the funds are a sponsorship/philanthropic gift in you or your company’s name and go towards care of the horse.
Q. Can I ride my sponsored horse at any time?
A. Unfortunately not, but we’d love you to visit us and see the difference your sponsored horse makes in the lives of
their riders.
Q. What happens if my sponsored horse doesn’t use the full amount I sponsor within the year?
A. Sometimes it will cost less to care for your sponsored horse (for example, horse care services may be donated to
Totara Park RDA), other times it may cost more. Any sponsorship funds not directly applied to your sponsored horse will
be used for the administration and improvement of Totara Park RDA.
You will be given first option to continue sponsoring your horse for another year.
