After a successful teaching career and gaining a Lifetime Achievement Award he has decided to pass on his knowledge and skills to others. His major interests are extending students beyond the acceptable and bringing industrial techniques into the classroom. Brian Smith is an experienced teacher of both ICT and D&T, has been a Head of Dept and Assistant Head. He has been involved in Electronics at a national level since the 1980’s, was an IEE Electronics Teacher of the year, an EIS trainer, and a Principal Examiner for Electronic Products, and has developed a number of commercial electronic products for education.
