Moderator. After a successful teaching
career and gaining a Lifetime Achievement
Award he has decided to pass on his
knowledge and skills to others. His major
interests are extending students beyond the
acceptable and bringing industrial techniques
into the classroom.
Brian Smith is an experienced teacher of
both ICT and D&T, has been a Head of Dept
and Assistant Head. He has been involved in
Electronics at a national level since the
1980’s, was an IEE Electronics Teacher of
the year, an EIS trainer, and a Principal
Examiner for Electronic Products, and has
developed a number of commercial
electronic products for education.

established courses to others which may be less
familiar to teachers. This course will provide
guidance in achieving further sucess in your
classroom.
This course is aimed at:

Product Design and Graphic Products.

ŸNQT’s
ŸCurriculum managers who are not specialists
Attending this workshop will provide:
Ÿ Tried and tested "how to do it" methods and strategies
Ÿ An approach to achieving further success in your
classroom.
Ÿ A range of proven strategies that can be applied to the
projects in your classroom.
Ÿ A range of three finished products with jigs and
templates ready for classroom use.
Ÿ Access to supply of appropriate materials through the
ICSAT company website
Ÿ Twelve month access to the ICSAT VLE for advice and
ongoing support.
Each school attending will take away a variety of resources that can be used in the classroom; all materials
are available via the ICSAT VLE and can be easily adapted to suit the needs of the individual schools.
