First Release 24 februar 2017 final data In January 2017 the output prices higher at the monthly and at the annual level Output price indices, Slovenia, January 2017 In January 2017 the output prices were 0.6% higher than in December 2016 and 1.3% higher than in January 2016. In January 2017 the output prices 0.6% higher at the monthly level Compared to December 2016, in January 2017 the output prices were 0.6% higher. The increase has been the largest monthly rise in the output prices since February 2011, when prices went up by 1.1%. The prices of exported products went up by 0.8% and the prices of manufactured goods sold on the domestic market by 0.4%. Both the prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the non-euro area countries and the prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries increased (by 1.3% and 0.5%, respectively). Among the groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products, intermediate goods prices and consumer goods prices increased each by 0.7% and capital goods prices by 0.4%; energy prices decreased by 0.2%. Compared to the previous month, output prices increased the most in manufacture of other transport equipment (by 3.7%), in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations (by 3.6%), and in manufacture of computer and optical products (by 2.0%). On the other hand, prices decreased the most in manufacture of coke and petroleum products (by 3.3%). The output prices 1.3% higher than a year ago The annual growth of output prices was positive for the past two months; this time (from January 2016 to January 2017) prices increased by 1.3%. Prior to this, we recorded sixteen consecutive months negative annual growth rates of prices. In the same period the output prices on the non-domestic market and the output prices on the domestic market increased by 2.3% and 0.2%, respectively. The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the non-euro area countries increased by 3.9% and the prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries by 1.5%. In one year prices went up the most in manufacture of textiles (by 27.6%), and in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations (10.7%). On the other hand, a noticeable price decrease was recorded in manufacture of coke and petroleum products (by 9.5%). The weights are now based on the sales value data from the 2015 Annual Industry Report (IND-L) recalculated to December 2016 prices. The sample of the reporting units includes 470 enterprises which report monthly for 2,455 products. 395 enterprises report the prices for products sold on the domestic market and 247 enterprises for exported products. Detailed data Detailed data and time series are available on the SI-STAT data portal, which enables simple browsing and exporting of data in various formats. Registered users have the possibility to store tables for later browsing and to sign up to be informed when data are updated.
