REFEREE SIGNALS FOR PLAYER UNIFORM NUMBERS
Here is a guide of the Referee
Signals for player uniform
numbers. This will help the
scorers to be able to enter the
information correctly onto the
scoresheet for when fouls are
called against a player
These are displayed in the
direction when the Referee would
be facing the score bench
If you didn’t hear the number
they called remember you can
always ask the Referee to clarify
their signal.
All uniform numbers beyond the ones
displayed here are done by a single hand
signal.
ie: 21 - would be 2 fingers followed
by 1 fingers
35 - would be 3 fingers followed
by 5 fingers
This is why uniforms numbers allowed are
between:
4-15, 20-25, 30-35, 40-45 & 50-55
