As a team captain, how do I register my team?
ALL CAPTAINS AND MEMBERS REGISTER THEMSELVES THIS YEAR!
Team captain’s will register first and select the ‘Create a team’ option during the registration
process. Once your registration is complete and your team is created tell your members to go
register themselves for the same day that you registered. Direct them to select the ‘Join a team’
option during registration. They can search for your team and select it.
NEW THIS YEAR! Team Captains can pre-pay for their members to guarantee
the entire team is in the same wave together.
When the team captain selects ‘Create a team’ during the registration process they will see an
option to pre-pay for team members. Enter the number of members you want to pay for (not
including yourself). You will be charged the current price of registration for each member you
selected.
How do I get my members to register once I have pre-paid for them?



Captain will go to MyEvents.Active.com and log in with their Active email address and
password.
Once logged in locate the ‘World Famous Mud Run’ event.
Click on the ‘Invite pre-paid team members’ link

The screen will take you to the ‘Invite Pre-paid Team Members’ page where captain will
enter in the email address for each member.




It is optional to change the Subject Line and the default email message.
Click Send.
Once the member receives the email they will click on the registration link within the
email, which will take them directly into the same day and wave where captain registered
and created the team.
Member will complete the registration form in full and pay for any additional purchases
if they so choose.
Captain’s team will already be selected for them on the registration form.

Their registration fee will be $0 since captain already paid for the registration.

What if a team member says they did not receive my invitation?
As the team captain you have the ability to revoke and/or resend pre-paid invitations.




Captain will go to MyEvents.Active.com and log in with their Active email address and
password.
Once logged in locate the ‘World Famous Mud Run’ event.
Click on ‘Manage my team’
Click on ‘Team’ under the ‘Places’ section


Click on ‘Pre-Paid Invitees’
Check the box next to the member in question

Captain can attempt to re-send the invite or if an incorrect email was inserted the first
time Revoke the invite and then send a new Invite using the correct email address
How do I know if all of my members have registered using the pre-paid invites?





Captain will go to MyEvents.Active.com and log in with their Active email address and
password.
Once logged in locate the ‘World Famous Mud Run’ event.
Click on ‘Manage my team’
Click on ‘Team’ under the ‘Places’ section
Captain can see all registered Team Members under the Team Members tab
