NOTE:
(1) Students who intend to pursue graduate studies in economics should select MAT1300 or
the sequence MAT1320 and MAT1325 (this last course can be replaced by MAT1322). A
strong background in mathematics helps students succeed in advanced courses and
graduate studies in economics. A Calculus prerequisite is needed for these courses.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Be registered full-time in the joint honours bachelor of social sciences program in
economics and political science.
Have a minimum CGPA of 6.
Have completed all course requirements up to and including the fall term of second
year.
Have completed the courses ECO3150 and ECO3151 before your first work term.
Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or an international student (authorization
or diplomat).
