Voice Announcement Manager (VAM) R5.x
Historically, Voice Announcement Manager (VAM) was bundled with the software
distribution CD of Avaya Site Manager (ASA). Voice Announcement Manger was
included as part of the ASA entitlement. As such, there was no fee or specific
material code associated with VAM.
With the June 2010 release of ASA 6.0, VAM was removed from the ASA software
distribution CD and posted on support.avaya.com. The purpose of this notification
is to communicate that VAM 5.x, as a standalone application, will no longer be
distributed or made commercially available from the 5.x Integrated Management
Download area on https://support.avaya.com effective December 18, 2010.

Effective December 18, 2010 Avaya will no longer distribute or make commercially
available Voice Announcement Manager (VAM) 5.x as a standalone application via
the 5.x Integrated Management download area on https://support.avaya.com.
The last date for downloading Voice Announcement Manager 5.x from the

The voice announcement administration that was provided by VAM 5.x is now
available directly from Avaya Site Manager (ASA) 6.x for single site administration
and from Avaya System Manager 6.x for multi-site administration
Product Migration Path:
Avaya now offers the following alternative voice announcement management
solutions that are delivered as entitlements of ASA or System Manager.



System Manager 6.x
The following codes will be available for ordering management solutions to
manage voice announcements. These codes are associated with the
Communication Manager entitlement.
