Junior Football League Scholarship
Scholarship Description: The Junior Football League (JFL) Scholarships are one-time awards.
Scholarships are awarded annually to students who participated in JFL and football at Pawnee High
School and plan to attend college, vocational/technical school or any other accredited institution.
Eligibility: Any Pawnee High School senior who participated in JFL for 3 years and football at PHS for 4
years and who has applied to an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school may apply
for this scholarship. The applicants must begin their college/university studies beginning in the fall
semester of the academic year following high school graduation.

Criteria Used to Evaluate Applicants:
o Applicant’s participation in JFL and High School Football.
o Applicant’s intent to attend college, vocational/technical school or any other accredited
institution.
Application Deadline: March 17

Submit this application and all other required documents to the High School Guidance
Counselor.
I authorize Pawnee Community Education Foundation representatives to review the preceding
information, my transcripts and additional information submitted for the scholarship application.
