 You do not need to participate in the R,S,G Challenge to
use the website. It is available to all staff, all year round.
 You do not need to be an Aetna plan holder to use the
platform.

FAQ’s
1.
How many people can be on a team?
Teams may have between 5 and 11 people, including the team captain. At least 5 people must be competing in a
challenge for a team to be included in a division’s team standings scores.
2.
What is a team captain?
Team captains are individuals who have elected to recruit teams for the challenge. In addition, they’re motivators
and leaders, and they’ll occasionally help answer questions and track results for teammates.
3.
Will my team and team captain know my weight?
Your weight will be kept completely private. Your weight is not shared with your teammates. If you have entered
the weight loss division and you need help logging your data privately, just call our user support specialists.
4.
Can I switch which challenge divisions I’m competing in?
You can change challenges through the first week of the challenge. After that, you cannot change.
5.
How do I know what counts as “exercise minutes”?
Any activity where you’re increasing your heart rate and breaking a sweat counts towards exercise minutes. This
can include brisk walking, jogging, biking, lifting weights, swimming, dancing, or team sports.

How do I report my progress?

You can also print the downloadable logbook from the platform and either you or your team captain will have
to enter the data online before the end of each challenge week.

(At the end of each challenge week, you’ll receive an email reminding you to log in to the platform and track your
data).

How are team standings calculated and announced?
Team standings (or scores) are calculated by finding the average for all team members participating in that
challenge. Since scores are based on averages, it’s important to encourage your teammates to do their best and
stay motivated! Team standings are announced after the end of each challenge round. At that time, you’ll receive
an email prompting you to log in to the platform to see where your team ranks!
