What is a character sketch?
A character sketch is short piece of writing that shows something
important about a person or fictional character. Think about
different characters in Monsters University. Some are likeable and
some are not so likeable. Choose one main character from Monsters
University to fill in the diagram below. [hint: Mike or Sulley are good choices]
Instructions:
Write the name of the character you chose in the box on the left.
Draw a picture of the character. Then think of three character traits
of this character [for example, loyal, brave, hostile] Write the
three traits in the oval shapes. For each trait, find two instances
in the movie when the character displayed each trait. Find examples
of quotations the character used and write them in the rectangles.
