If the membership application is not accepted, the fee will be returned. (2) Membership Certificates are transferrable. Occasionally an existing membership may be for sale. This is a matter of private negotiation. Application for the transfer of an existing membership to a new member requires a transfer fee being paid to the Jerome Country Club (the “Club”) in the amount of $300.00. This transfer fee can be paid by the seller or the buyer. Again it is a matter of private negotiation. If the membership application is not accepted, the fee will be returned. (3) A membership entitles the entire family to Club privileges. (4) Applications for membership must be approved by the Board of Directors of the Club before becoming effective. (5) Applications must have the signature of Two Sponsors (current members of the Club) (6) The applicant, by his or her signature hereunder, hereby acknowledges that he/she has received copies of the Club's Bylaws and regulations and has had an opportunity to read and ask any and all pertinent questions with respect to those documents. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. I. J. K. L. M. N. O. P. Q. All members and guests must register in the Pro-Shop prior to play. To obtain guest fee rates, guests must play with a member. Playing groups are limited to no more than: 4 golfers except for sanctioned tournaments and organized golf such as play on men’s and women’s day. No unattended pets allowed on the course. Each player must have his/her own set of clubs. The following days may have some restrictions to play: 1. Monday - course closed until 10:30 AM (maintenance) 2. Tuesday - Morning hours (men’s day play) 3. Tuesday - 6:00 PM to dark (women’s twilight) 4. Wednesday - Morning hours (women’s day play) 5. Thursday - 6:00 PM to dark (men’s twilight) 6. Friday - 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM (Couples Chapman) To avoid inconvenience, tee times can be made by calling the Pro-Shop 3 days before the intended day of play (7 days in advance for members). Please give the names of the players in your group. Members are encouraged to not make a tee time for a single player. If unable to keep a scheduled tee time, someone in the group should cancel early enough to allow other members/nonmembers the opportunity to schedule that time. To ensure a good pace of play, groups must make an effort to keep up with the group ahead. If a hole gap occurs, the group must speed up to close the gap. Slower groups will allow faster groups behind them to play through (no matter how many are in the group behind-including singles) when it becomes obvious the slower group cannot keep up with the groups ahead, and they fall more than one hole behind. Searching for balls other than those of your playing group is prohibited. Groups stopping for a lengthy delay after nine holes may lose their place, and if this occurs, the group will be required to proceed as instructed by the Pro-Shop. Do not start initial play on hole #10 without first getting permission from the Pro-Shop. Holes should be played in sequence unless permission is given by the Pro-Shop. JCC shall not be liable for any injuries which may occur on club property. Children shall not be left unattended on JCC property. All beverages must be purchased from the clubhouse. All players are responsible for checking the club bulletin boards for special rules which may be in effect due to unusual conditions. . The normal hours of operation for the Pro-Shop are as follow: Mar. – Apr. (Opens at 9:00 A.M.) May – Aug. (Opens at 7:00 A.M.) Sept – Oct. (Opens at 9:00 A.M.) Nov. (Opens at 11:00 A.M. or as weather conditions warrant) Mondays (Opens at 9:30 A.M.) DRESS CODE: The following outlines the dress code for the club house, golf course, and practice facility. Members, guests of members, and all others who are not dressed appropriately may be asked to change. MEN: Acceptable: Shirts with collars and sleeves, mock turtle-neck golf shirts, turtle-necks, slacks, golf shorts up to four inches (4”) above the knee, and denim pants or shorts are considered acceptable attire. Clothing will be clean looking with no holes and not frayed. Not Acceptable: Tank tops, tee shirts, fishnet tops, sweat pants, bathing suits, tennis shorts, cut-offs, and athletic type shorts are not permitted. WOMEN: Acceptable: Dresses, skirts, slacks, skorts, golf shorts, denim pants or shorts, mock turtle-neck golf shirts, turtle-necks, and blouses are considered appropriate attire. Skirts, skorts, and shorts must be no shorter than four inches (4”) above the knee. Sleeveless shirts must be commonly accepted as golf attire. Clothing will be clean looking with no holes and not frayed. Not Acceptable: Halter tops, tank tops, sleeveless tee shirts, fishnet tops, bathing suits, sweat pants, and athletic type shorts are not permitted. SHOES: Acceptable: Only Soft spike golf shoes, golf sandals, or tennis shoes may be worn on the course and practice facilities. Metal spikes are not permitted. Not Acceptable: Football spikes, baseball spikes, other turf shoes, and cleated boots or hiking shoes are not permitted. When someone wears clothing which is or is not addressed above, the club Pro, his representatives, or club house staff are authorized to determine if the attire is acceptable. CART RULES: A. B. C. D. E. Power cart operators must be old enough to have a driver’s license. Keep all carts outside white lines, marker ropes, and at least 30 feet from all greens and teeing grounds. Obey cart directional signs when posted. Whenever possible, keep carts on cart paths around tees and greens. If rental carts are available, players using borrowed carts or guests bringing carts on the course must pay a trail fee in the Pro-Shop before play. Carts are limited to: 2 per foursome. LOCAL GUIDELINES: A. B. C. D. E. USGA rules govern all play unless superseded by a local rule. Players are asked to repair all ball marks, replace or sand/seed (as determined best) all divots and rake all bunkers. Try not to drag feet on the greens and repair spike marks before leaving the green. Leave the green and surrounding area immediately after the hole is completed. Record your Score’s on the next tee. Do not practice approach shots, chipping to, or putting on regular greens except when the rules allow such during the play of a normal round. Players are not allowed to use range balls on the course.
