PGL 2017 Tregoyd House Dates MONDAY th 19 JUNE UNTIL FRIDAY rd 23 JUNE Staff going: Mrs Gordon, Miss Barnett, Miss Briggs, Mr Proud, Miss Challender and Mrs Boden ACTIVITIES • Day is split according to activities ; 4 activities per day. • Excellent training of staff – specific activity based training • Enthusiastic staff • Safety • First Aid ACTIVITIES 07.00 - 09.00 Get up, get ready and fuel up for the day ahead 09.15 - 12.30 Morning activities - usually 2 sessions with a 15 minute refreshment break 12.30 - 14.00 Dry off & clean up. Time for a fresh & tasty two-course hot lunch 14.15 - 17.30 Afternoon activities - 2 exciting sessions with a 15 minute refreshment break 18.00 - 19.00 Time to eat again - a different menu each day 19.00 - 21.00 Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and more. The evening entertainment programme keeps you laughing until bedtime. 21.00 / 21.30 Bedtime. Mobile phones MP3 Players Games Consoles e.g. Nintendo DS Lunch boxes Aerosol sprays Hair Straighteners SPENDING MONEY Example • Monday No money needed • Tuesday £2 • Wednesday £2 • Thursday £5-10 (Includes gift shop) • Friday No money needed • Each day to be put in individual envelope • Money is stored safely onsite MONDAY MORNING • Arrive at school at normal time with bags packed and labelled clearly. One bag per child plus a separate black bag with pillow and sleeping bag. (Bags to be left in studio.) • Please supply a packed lunch & drink for your child in disposable packaging (plastic bag) – NO FIZZY DRINKS AND NUT FREE PLEASE! • During registration children hand in spending money in separate envelopes 1 for each day clearly labelled with child’s name. • Hand in medicines to Mrs Boden, Miss Challender or Mr Proud when asked to do so. If you haven’t already filled in a medical form you will need to complete one when handing in the medicine. Please make sure that all meds are clearly labelled with your child’s name and dosage. • PLEASE REMEMBER TO GIVE TRAVEL SICKNESS PILLS TO YOUR CHILD BEFORE COMING TO SCHOOL. MONDAY CONTINUED JOURNEY DOWN WILL INCLUDE A STOP TO EAT OUR PACKED LUNCHES AT BERRINGTON HALL. ARRIVE AT TREGOYD HOUSE 3.00 approx. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS • BOYS AND GIRLS – separate rooms • Number in room depends on room allocation. • We will try our best to ensure that children are with friends • Children are not allowed into other rooms boys or girls COMMUNICATION • NO MOBILES with children • Contact Tregoyd House • Contact Portway School PICKING UP • We will leave the centre after lunch on FRIDAY • HOPEFULLY arriving back around 5:30 – we will notify parents via text message with a more accurate time as the journey progresses.
