Family Fun with Children in Mind
Please join us for a summer filled with activities and
crafts for everyone to enjoy. Watch for additional
programs.
An adult must accompany and remain with anyone under the age
of 18 visiting Harris County Precinct 3 Community Centers.

Bingo for Children and Families
June 28, July 12 & 26 and August 9 (Wednesdays), 1:00 –
3:00 p.m.
Join us for Bingo, lemonade and popcorn.
Beginning Finger Crochet
July 3 and 10 (Mondays), 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
All you need to make a scarf, a belt, a
placemat or an afghan is yarn, your
fingers and a pair of scissors!
Children 7 years and older and adults are
invited to participate in this class.
Craft and Play: Memory Games
July 6 (Thursday), 11:00
a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Families, start collecting
bottle caps to make fun,
personalized games that
train the brain. We have
various bottle caps, some
stickers, markers, rubber
stamps, an inkpad, acrylic
paint and paintbrushes
that you can use to make
your memory game. You
may bring your own materials to create original pieces.

Craft and Play: Flying Discs
July 13 (Thursday), 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
We will use large plastic container lids to
make fun, personalized flying discs that train
children’s motor skills and hand-eye
coordination. After creating your very own
Frisbee, you will get to play games like Disc Tic-Tac-Toe, Disc
Bowling, and Disc Golf.
Theatre for Kids
July 13 (Thursday), 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Volunteer instructor Bria Landry
offers Pre-K through 12th grade
students the opportunity to learn and
develop skills in acting, improvisation
and musical theatre. No supplies are needed for this class.
Craft and Play: The Coolest Jump Ropes Ever
July 31 (Monday), 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Kids, come and have fun by making the
coolest jump ropes ever with fabric! We
have some of the supplies needed, but if
you have your own color and pattern ideas,
it is suggested that you bring your own:
Strips of fabric (min. of 12” long by 3” wide) and scissors.
Mexican Train Dominoes
August 2 (Wednesday), 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Volunteer games whizzes are standing by
to teach you this fun game for ages 7+.
