Policy Name – Fitness of Ground for play Policy Number 2015/2 If the prospect of play is doubtful for any reason prior to game day, the ground staff will inspect the pitch/ground and inform the Captain of the team scheduled to play on the ground of their deliberations. Following careful consideration, the Captain will determine the grounds fitness for play and in the event that play is unlikely inform the Club Secretary. The club secretary will advise the Executive Officer of the Central Coast Cricket Association (CCCA) and the Secretary of the opposing team that the ground is unfit for play. On the day of the game, the Umpires will be the sole judge of the fitness of the ground for play in accordance with competition rules of the CCCA.
