Kristin Tracy (formerly Blanchette), the second winningest head coach in the history of the women's lacrosse program completed her sixth and final year in 2015. Tracy led her team to its first LEC Championship title and NCAA Tournament Appearance since 2006 in 2014. The Panthers have captured four Little East Conference Regular Season Championships in six seasons under Tracy. She was recognized as the Little East Conference Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2015. Over Tracy's six seasons as head coach she amassed an overall 6728 record and an overall 297 inconference record, recording one of the top winning percentages as a head coach in NCAA Division III lacrosse. Most recently Tracy mentored assistant coach Kristen Guest to the prestigious 2015 IWLCA National Assistant Coach of the Year Award. Plymouth had another superior campaign in 2015 with a 134 overall record and another undefeated 60 inconference record. Tracy again produced and mentored three of the league's top Player of the Year Award recipients in the LEC Offensive, Defensive, and Midfield Players of the Year. This marked the fourth straight year Plymouth State swept the majority of the league's postseason awards. Tracy mentored Molly Gleason, the twotime LEC Midfielder of the Year, Rachel Fistori, the LEC Defender of the Year and AllRegion defender, and Amy MacDonald who was not only a twotime LEC Offensive Player of the Year and a twotime AllRegion Attacker, but was also only the second player in program history to be selected to the prestigious IWLCA NorthSouth Senior AllStar Game. PSU walked away with five players being selected to the LEC AllConference teams. Plymouth State had a season for the books in 2014 boasting a 125 overall record. Tracy led the Panthers to the LEC Championship Title beating conference rival Keene State 84. This earned the Panthers their first berth to the NCAA Tournament since 2006. Tracy produced the program’s first IWLCA National AllAmerican in senior Goalie Lorin Field. Field also earned her third straight LEC Defensive Player of the Year Award, her third straight FirstTeam AllRegion honors and her third straight First Team AllConference selection. Field also broke 4 PSU records in 2014. Tracy mentored and developed Field to leave the program as one of the most decorated players in program history. Additionally in 2014, Tracy produced two other LEC major award winners in junior attacker Amy MacDonald and junior midfielder Molly Gleason as they earned the LEC Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year honors. All three (Field, MacDonald & Gleason) including junior Rachel Fistori earned LEC FirstTeam AllConference and IWLCA AllRegion honors. The Panthers achieved an outstanding season in 2013 with an almost unblemished 123 overall record and perfect 60 conference record. Tracy produced two of the LEC’s top award recipients with the LEC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year in Lorin Field and Meghan McNabb. Tracy also produced a Plymouth State record of eight selections to the LEC AllConference teams including a record seven named to the First Team. Adding another record to her resume, Tracy guided four of her players to place on the IWLCA Regional AllRegion Team, including its first ever FirstTeam selection in senior Captain Caitlin Swanson. In 2012, Tracy guided the Panthers to one of the top turnarounds in the country when the team finished 132 with a 13game winning streak, a sixgame improvement over the 2011 team’s 78 mark. Tracy produced three of the LEC’ s top award recipients with the Midfielder, Defensive Player and Rookie of the Year in Caitlin Swanson, Lorin Field & Meghan McNabb. PSU shared the LEC regular season crown under Tracy in 2010 with a 51 mark, and topped the 2012 standings with a perfect 60 record. Tracy has quickly catapulted the PSU lacrosse program to new heights now being recognized as one of the top ranked programs in Division III and within the region. Producing some of the top talent in the country year after year; the amount of accolades and awards are unending. Tracy came to PSU after serving three years as an assistant coach at two top Division I lacrosse programs. She coached one year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and two years at Ivy League, Brown University. While at UMass, she helped lead the squad to the 2009 Atlantic10 Regular Season and Tournament Championship Titles and a berth to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1984. Tracy helped coach nine Atlantic10 AllConference players at UMass including two U.S. National Team members. She also coached several AllRegion and AllIvy League players while at Brown. A 2006 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she was a team captain and fouryear starting midfielder/draw specialist for the Wildcats. The former Blanchette helped UNH to national rankings from 200406 and a berth to the NCAA Tournament in 2004. She earned America East AllConference First Team and AllChampionship Team honors in 2006 when she was also named a Regional AllAmerican and played in the prestigious IWLCA North/South Senior AllStar game. Tracy compiled career totals of 112 goals, 39 assists and 151 points to rank tied for eighth on UNH's AllTime goals list and ninth in Career Points. Tracy has played at the highest level of women's lacrosse and has extensive international experience. She played for the US National Team in 20052007; being only the second player in UNH history and one of the youngest in the country to be selected to the US National Team program. She also played for the Irish National Team at the 2009 World Cup held in Prague, Czech Republic. Ireland finished fifth out of 16 countries; a World Cup record for a newly entered country. Tracy was one of the lead point producers and draw control leader for Team Ireland. Tracy is an active member of the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association) serving on several committees throughout the year. She is also the owner and director of her own company, Top Notch Lacrosse, LLC that runs girls lacrosse camps during the summer months. A native of Sudbury, Mass., Tracy was a 2002 AllAmerican in lacrosse for Massachusetts lacrosse powerhouse LincolnSudbury Regional High School. She also lettered in ice hockey. Tracy’s sister, Stephanie Blanchette played for the Panthers from 200407 and was a twotime AllLittle East defender. Tracy and her husband Bryan (Tracy) reside in Plymouth, NH. They have a daughter, Tenley and a son, Maverick.
