Unit 2 Project Options: Foldable
Foldable: Create a foldable to demonstrate your understanding of the skills taught
in Unit 2- characterization and point of view.
Choice 1- Two Tab Point of View Foldable
•
Definition of term used (Point of view, 1st, 3rd limited or omniscient)
•
Character’s names
•
Point of view of person telling story
•
How story would be different from another character’s point of view.
Choice 2- Characterization Clues Foldable
• Definition of 4 types of characterization
• Two examples for each of the 5 categories on foldable
• Picture/drawing of the character showing some of the traits mentioned in the
project
Also must include the following:
• Title of story & author

Unit 2 Project Options: Diorama Creation:
Choose one of the options below and create a diorama using
key concepts from Unit 2 short stories. Be sure to follow
the step-by-step directions attached to this worksheet.
Character Box• -Choose one character from one of the short stories in
Unit 2 and complete a diorama that includes three major
character traits/qualities and demonstrates your
understanding of the character and how he/she related to
the short story.
Setting Box• -Choose one setting and time period and recreate a scene
from Unit 2 demonstrating your understanding of the time
period selected.

Narrative Point of View Comic Strips:
Directions: Choose one of the short stories from Unit 2 and create three comic
strips showing one of the three different narrative viewpoints; 1st person, 3rd
person and 3rd person omniscient.
Requirements
• 1. Each comic strip [there are 3 in all] will contain dialogue [word bubbles],
three scenes, and narration [square narration boxes].
• 2. Each comic strip should be narrated using one of the following perspectives:
first-person, third-person, and third-person omniscient.
• 3. Make an effort to clearly show the point of view.
• 4. The title of your comic strip will include the Point of View you are
illustrating.
