School Games Level 3 Festivals that are to be held across three sites; Keele
University, Keele, Staffordshire; Fenton Manor, Stoke-on-Trent; and Northwood
Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent.
The assessment will try to identify the range of hazards and offer suitable and
sufficient control measures that are reasonably practicable to remove the original
hazard.
General Information

Approximately 600 young people for the winter festival and 2000 young people for
the summer festival from Schools within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will take
part. Each school will be required to register their teams. The schools will be
required to bring two copies of the pupils names, details of any medical condition that
they may have, and also emergency contact numbers. These details will be kept with
the lead teacher of each team.
This risk assessment has been compiled by the Sport Across Staffordshire and
Stoke-on-Trent School Games Coordinator. Throughout the event the School
Games Coordinator and other staff will tour the sites to determine if there are any
alterations to be made to the assessment or new control measures to be
implemented. Information gathered from the 2014 event will influence the contents of
the assessment for future events of this nature.

FIRST AID
First Aid is to be carried out by Chase Medics who will be on each site for the
