Placement
The Corporate Relationship Program (CRP) has always been an intrinsic part of Globsyn Business
School (GBS) and seeks to construct alliances that resonate with the industry, the business school
and the student community. Through unrelenting efforts at the macro and micro levels, the CRP
team has been successful in providing meaningful, lucrative, career-defining jobs to 2700+ GBS
students over the years which have come about through the 323+ relationships built with corporate
entities who continue to find merit in hiring GBS students.
Campus Placements at GBS has been very encouraging with the number of brands approaching the
campus being 44% higher in 2015 than last year. Apart from regular recruiters, there were new
brands seen on campus offering attractive profiles and packages to the graduating batch. A total of
141 offers were made on campus by top recruiters like Glaxo Smithkline, PriceWaterhouseCoopers
(PwC India), KPMG, Vodafone, Asian Paints, ICRA, Manpower Group, HCL, TATA Teleservices,
Berger Paints.

The other recruiters were from across the sectors including Pantaloons, TCS, Amazon, Johnson &
Johnson, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Info-edge, Step2Strategy, Future Group among others.
International Placements
As per the Alumni data available with CRP, GBS students can be found working as thorough
professionals in reputed companies throughout the world – in North America, Europe, Australia,
Africa and the Far East. This year, with 5 international offers made by the Bahrain Financial
Company (Kingdom of Bahrain) and Midland Group, Dubai, GBS students will be seen working in
the Middle East as well.

Corporate Engagements
Management education being an academic programme geared towards making individuals
employable in corporate positions across the industry, most b-schools prioritize the issue of Campus
Placements for its students. What makes GBS different from other management institutions is the
perspective from which Placement for a student is looked at. For GBS considers Placement not to
be an event that occurs once at the end of a student's two-year stint, but a process of continuous
interactions between the b-school and the industry culminating in recruitment. At GBS, these
interfaces with the industry are enabled and executed through the Corporate Relationship Program.




Engagement Model
Through 'Corporate Connect', CRP engages veterans of the industry in various domains to develop
and design class-room deliverable content that familiarizes students with work-place skills required
to chart out careers in the sector of their choice. Interactions with industry-experts reinforces through
practical demonstrations the theoretical learning delivered in the conventional mode by academia.
The 'Corporate Connect' Program thus becomes a concretization of Globsyn's philosophy of
'EduSkills' - an amalgamation of education and skills.
By developing on the concept of 'EduSkills' further, Globsyn has given shape to the 'Campus to
Corporate' program, whereby, through a formal framework of structured interaction with a specific
organization, GBS students go through the professionally enriching experience of internship with that
company, provided they are able to clear the rigorous assessment at the end of the module. In the
recent past, GBS students were provided with this opportunity to gain workplace learning at
Vodafone and PriceWaterhouse Cooper through the 'Campus to Corporate' program.
The 'Management Apprenticeship Programme' (MAP), provides GBS students with a chance to work
with renowned companies as an apprentice for a year which is preceded by a year-long
management coursework designed and delivered by the experts from the company together with
academicians. MAP is a unique programme in that the industry collaborates with academia to shape
management students as individuals who are industry-ready by the time they graduate.
Composition of the CRP Team
Globsyn's National Corporate Relationship Cell (CRP Network), encompasses a dedicated full- time
team of experienced core industry persons, nationwide forum of ex-students, faculty representatives,
and Students Committee Representatives.
Corporate Partners
The CRP team handles and ensures the smooth transition of the graduates from the campus to the
professional world. This is the team that maps the industry resource needs and works towards
translating the requirements into deliverable resources. Over the years the Corporate Relationship
Program has developed excellent corporate relationships, with GBS students being absorbed in
leading organizations across the country. It is through the efforts of the CRP that more than 300+
organizations from various industry verticals like Banking, NBFCs, FMCG, Consumer Durables,
Insurance, Advertising, Hardware, Media, Consultancy, Chemical & Paints, Automobiles and Retail
have absorbed our students, both during the final placements and the summer internship seasons.
