For the past few weeks, on a Wednesday lunchtime, a small group of year 5/6 have
been trialing out a new club. Much like the very successful playground leaders, the
club has been started to encourage children across the school to take part in more
activities and games during their lunch break. Some of the activities have involved
problem solving where teams have crossed a "swamp" in the playground using a
limited amount of equipment and as well as team games like Tic Tac Toe (see
picture). The children are aiming to try out these activities with a view to delivering
them to other year groups who will be invited to the club later in the year.
