You have several options for
proving your identity, provide
ONE of the following:
Valid UK or European
Economic Area Passport
OR
Valid passport with
'Indefinite leave to remain
in the UK'
OR
Valid passport with Eligible Visa.
ALL Visas must be valid for a
minimum of 6 months after the
loan is due to end.
See below for details of visas that
are NOT eligible
OR
Full valid photo UK driving licence
or
UK provisional driving licence
OR
Valid EU/EEA ID Card with a machine readable zone plus
ONE ADDITIONAL proof of address

Any mistakes or omissions may lead to your documents not being accepted and
increase the time required to process your application.
Proof of Identity Original Undamaged Documents must be scanned or photographed and uploaded
onto the online application form.
Please provide us with ONE document from Proof of Identity from the following list:



Valid UK or European Economic Area Passport (photo page)
Valid Passport ‘Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK (photo page AND relevant page stating
indefinite leave to remain in the UK)
Valid Passport with Eligible Visa (photo page AND the Visa page)
o Following are not Eligible Visas:
Tier 1 Visa (types with restrictions on work)
Tier 2 Visa – All categories
Tier 4 (General) Visa
Tier 5 Visa (Temporary Worker)
Domestic Workers on Private Household Visa
Representative of an Overseas Business Visa


o ALL Visas must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the loan is due to end. For
example, an applicant with a Visa that expires in 42 months can only apply for a loan for
36 months.
Full Valid Photo UK Driving Licence or UK Provisional Driving License
Valid EU/EEA ID Card with a Machine Readable Zone plus ONE ADDITIONAL Proof of Address
