In February 2016 the output prices 0.2% lower at the monthly level and 1.7%
lower at the annual level
Output price indices, Slovenia, February 2016
Compared to January 2016, in February 2016 output prices were 0.2% lower. Compared to February
2015 they were 1.7% lower. The output prices on the domestic market were 0.4% lower, while the
prices of exported products remained on average the same as in January 2016.

market were 0.4% lower, while the prices of exported products remained on average the same as in January
2016.
At the monthly level the prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries
decreased by 0.3% and the prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the non-euro area countries
increased by 0.4%.
Among groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products, energy prices decreased
by 2.5% and intermediate goods prices by 0.3%, while capital goods prices and consumer goods prices each
increased by 0.1%.
Compared to the previous month, the output prices decreased the most in electricity (by 2.9%), in water
collection, treatment and supply (by 2.2%) and in manufacture of basic metals (by 1.1%).
In February 2016 the output prices increased in the following activities: other manufacturing (by 3.8%),
manufacture of computer and optical products (by 0.9%) and manufacture of wood, products of wood and
cork (by 0.8%).
Output prices 1.7% lower than a year ago
From February 2015 to February 2016 the output prices went down by 1.7%. In the same period the output
prices on the non-domestic market decreased by 1.9% and the output prices on the domestic market by
1.4%.
The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries decreased by 2.3% and the
prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the non-euro area countries by 1.1%.
In one year prices went down the most in manufacture of basic metals (by 9.3%). On the other hand, the
highest price increase was recorded in other manufacturing (by 5.0%).
