Activities
A Cardboard Mansion
Individuals use whatever materials (ex: markers, chalk etc.) that they have brought to decorate
their box. The boxes will be judged by a panel of sponsors, and a food prize will be awarded to the most
creative abode. You can have fun with this one!!! (Appropriately) No spray paint, glitter, etc. allowed.
Scavenger Hunt
Teams of 4-6 participants hunt for items, such as canned goods, recyclables, and banana peels,
hidden around the stadium. The team that finds the most items will be rewarded with a food prize.
Clothing Relay
Teams of 4-6 participants begin the race by donning a “uniform” supplied by that team, the
participant must then complete one, predetermined, leg of the relay race before passing the clothes on to
the next member who will then run their leg of the race. The area for the race will be divided into six legs,
those teams with less than six members will have to have other team members run in two NONCONSECUTIVE races. The uniform must include: sweatpants and sweatshirt, winter coat, stocking
hat, gloves and scarf. The winning team will receive a food prize.
Layered-Man
A team dresses one of the team members in as many layers of clothing as possible. That team
member must then walk or run a designated distance, remaining on foot the entire time. The layers of
clothes will be counted from the teams who complete the task. The team with the most clothes on their
teammate wins. The winning team will receive a food prize.
Guest Speaker
A guest speaker will be invited to give a presentation at some point during the night, more
information to come when a speaker is found.
Dumpster Dive
A large Cardboard box or container representing a dumpster has been filled with crumpled
newspapers, in which six small plastic food items are hidden. One at a time team members must dig
through the “garbage” and find the food. Teams with less than six members may have a team member
take two nonconsecutive turns. Only one item may be retrieved per turn. The team who collects all six
food items in the least amount of time wins a food prize.
Pack a Box
A large Cardboard box is used to see how many team members can fit in the box without breaking
the box.
Other activities such as music and dancing, kickball, limbo, tag, and a midnight
movie.
