Project Graduation
This annual event is an all night party for our graduating seniors. The event is made
possible through the combined efforts of the UTHS Boosters, parent and teacher
volunteers and the generous contributions of our community leaders. With your help
we will once again be able to provide a safe, fun, drug and alcohol free night for our
seniors as they spend one last night together as a class. This night will include games,
prizes, food, and lots of fun and memories. Please consider giving your time to
volunteer. We will take whatever time you can give. Project Graduation will be held
Saturday, June 3, from 11pm to 4am at UTHS. Students must participate in the
graduation ceremony and check in by midnight to take part in Project Graduation.

Dual Credit Information
If your student signed up for one or more dual credit courses next year, there are several steps they need
to complete to ensure they are properly enrolled in the course.
1. Online application.. This can be done at www.bhc.edu
2. Registration: BHC has registration forms (copies are in the counseling office) that need to be signed
by students and parents. They then need to be returned to the counseling office.
3. Take the Accuplacer test if you are enrolled in English Composition. This is given in April and May
at UT and is Black Hawk’s entrance exam. Results are immediate so students know if they qualify.
Scores of 90 on the Reading and a 5 on the Writing tests are required. Retakes are offered at $15 per
test.
All three of the above steps must be completed for enrollment in a dual credit course. Registration will
not be final until the end of the school year. Payment for fall classes will be due around mid September
to Black Hawk College. Failure to pay or register properly could result in either no credit from BHC or
full tuition required for credit. If you have any questions please call Stacey Drish at 752-1673.
