In partnership with the Presiding Officer, Rosemary Butler AM, GRO presents: (IN)VISIBILITY Gendered Research Opportunities is a research unit which has been established in the Politics and Law departments of Cardiff University. GRO’s aim is to foreground gender issues in academic life and to foster debate, amongst students and colleagues, concerning the invisibility of women in this sector. This conference, entitled (In)visibility, will feature the official launch of the Presiding Officer’s Women in Public Life Portal and will bring together leading voices from the Welsh academic community to discuss the perennial question ‘Where are the women’?
