CLARE TRACK INVITATIONAL

Scoring will be for eight places in all events. Individual events will be scored 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and
relays will be scored 16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2. Medals to the top 6 in all individual events and to the top 3
in all relays. Results and medals may be picked up in the press box after the meet. Results will be sent
to various media.
Each school is allowed THREE entries in individual events, plus a fourth entrant if ALL FOUR meet
the established additional qualifying standard listed below.
*Reminder: if the 4th entry submitted does NOT meet the AQ, this seed will be scratched.
*Reminder: Scratch only on meet day. No substitutions. Scratch sheets are due to the pressbox
by 4 PM. Any scratches afterwards should be made with the clerk or field judge.
Field Events: Shot put, discus, and long jump will be 4 trials with no finals. The long jump will be
open order with a 75 minute time limit.
Pole vault—Girls start at 6’ 6”, boys start at 9’6”. 6” raises until 5 or less
jumpers are left.
High jump—Girls start at 4’2” and boys start at 5’2”. 2” raises until there are 5
or less jumpers left in the competition.
All places will be awarded on times. There are no prelims. FAT and live results will be used.
We will run ahead of schedule when possible. In running events, boys go first in even years, and girls
go first in odd years.
The MHSAA uniform rules will be enforced.
The Online Entries and $200 entry fee are due by April 27.
