of the Turkic World Mathematical Society (TWMS 2017)
Dear colleagues!
The VI Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society (TWMS 2017)
will be held on October 2-5, 2017 in Astana. The Congress will be organized on
the basis of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Traditionally, International Congresses of the Mathematical Society of
Turkic World are held once in three years. The main objective of the Congress is
expansion of international relations and scientific cooperation between scientists of
Turkic world, development of mathematics and application of achievements of
mathematics and information technology in scientific research. At the Congress of
the Turkic World Mathematical Society main directions of development of
theoretical and applied mathematics are defined, and the scientists who have made
significant contributions to the development of mathematics are awarded. Not only
representatives of the countries of the Turkic world participate in the Congresses of
the Turkic World Mathematical Society, but also leading scholars from other
countries are invited.
The I Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society was held in 1999
in Turkey at Firat University (Elazig, Turkey); The II Congress - in 2007 in Turkey
at Sakarya University (Adapazari, Turkey); The III Congress - in 2009 in
Kazakhstan at Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi (Almaty, 30.06.4.07.2009); The IV Congress - in 2011, in Azerbaijan at Baku University (Baku,
Azerbaijan); The V Congress - in 2014 in Kyrgyzstan, on the shore of Lake IssykKul (Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan, 3-9 June 2014).
The VI Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society will include
conferences (Conference), mini-symposiums (Mini-symposium) and workshops
(Workshop). The Congress will consist of plenary lectures of the Congress, plenary
lectures within conferences and mini-symposiums, oral presentations and poster
presentations. The list of the conferences, seminars and mini-symposiums, and the
conditions of new announcements will be presented on the official website of the
Congress.
The official languages of the Congress are English, Kazakh and Russian.
By the beginning of the Congress a book of abstracts will have been
prepared. Abstract design template will be published on the official Congress
website http://twms-astana-2017.kz/.
Selected works of the Congress will be published in international journals
«Eurasian Mathematical Journal» (Astana), «Eurasian Mathematical Journal of
Mathematical and Computer Applications» (Астана), «TWMS Pure and Applied
Mathematics» (Baku), «TWMS Applied and Computational Mathematics» (Baku),
«Journal of Applied and Engineering Mathematics» (Turkey), (journals included
in the Thomson Reuters database). Organizing committee of the Congress is
working to increase the number of scientific journals for publication of materials
of the Congress.
Registration fee for the participants of the Congress is defined, the amount
of which will be published on the official Congress website.
The Organizing Committee of the VI Congress of the Turkic World
Mathematical Society (TWMS2017) invites you to participate in its work. We
invite everyone to register on the official Congress website. There you can register
the title of your report, select the conference, mini-symposium or seminar to
participate, and determine the form of your report and attach the abstract file of the
report.
