I am a creative, dynamic, BAFTA nominated Senior / Series Producer, Multi-Camera
Studio Producer / Director and Location Producer / Director with over 18 years
broadcast television production experience.
With my varied and comprehensive broadcast experience I have worked as both a
producer and director for the BBC and within the independent sector, leading the creative
direction of new formats and respected flagship series, producing fresh and engaging content
for a wide range of audiences.
A multi-skilled and versatile professional my portfolio of work spans a range of live / prerecorded studio projects, outside broadcasts and location filming across a wide mix of genres
and formats including magazine shows, music and entertainment features, game-shows,
factual entertainment series, comedy, documentary and observational documentary, dramatic
reconstruction, hidden camera, consumer affairs, science, live news studio, on-air continuity /
presentation and pre-school programmes.

Extensive location / foreign filming experience both in the UK and Internationally
including Europe, the Middle East, Caribbean, USA and Asia. Significant experience of
filming in extreme weather conditions and a diverse range of shooting environments
including hostile and hazardous locations on land, sea and air.

Practical self-shooting camera skills, BBC trained to operate DSR500/570, Z1, PD150,
VX1000 and VX2000 with advanced training in sound recording and self-lighting.

Highly experienced edit producer of both short form films, series and long form
formats. Comprehensive experience of all aspects of post production from off-line to
on-line, overseeing multiple linear and non-linear edit suites (Avid and FCP), scriptwriting / editing voiceover, graphic design and delivery, directing voiceover artist
recording and audio dub/mixing, picture grading and final delivery of completed
projects to commissioning execs. Also BBC trained to operate Final Cut Pro with
experience in self-editing programmes, sequences and solo projects.

Extensive training in all aspects of television production including content
development, leadership, mentoring, team management and technical operation of
broadcast camera equipment, vision mixing and editing.
