Coring Samples and Pictures 6655’ – 6745’ MD This whole 90’ section consists mostly of Limestone, Dolomite, and Anhydrite. From what I could see, the core samples did not have a presence of oil. I did not see any structures or any real defining characteristics from the strata. There are a few veins of lime carbonates within the dolomite, however, no intra clasts, flame strutures, or fossils that were seen with a hand lens. Without, cutting the core in half, very little can be determined. These pictures were taken from the top, middle of each 30’ increment, and bottom of the 90’ core. 6745’ – 6866’ MD This 120’ core section is composed of Dolomite, Dolimitic Limestone, Anhydrite, Siltyshale, and Siltstone. There is no presence of oil seepage from this core. Pictures show good contact zones of changes in strata. 6866’ – 6986’ MD This 120’ core section is composed of Dolomite, Dolimitic Limestone, Limestone, Anhydrite, and Siltstone. There is no presence of oil seepage from this core. 6986’ – 7106’ MD This 120’ core section is composed mostly of Dolomite, Dolimitic Limestone, Limestone, and Siltstone. There is no presence of oil seepage from this core.
