Helicopter aerobatics
Every good air show traditionally involves top-notch aerobatics. This
will also be the case of the 26th Aviation Fair at the Pardubice Airport
at the weekend of 28th–29th 2016.
"Aerobatics is rightfully considered a queen among air sports and only
few pilots are able to perform the complex aerobatic manoeuvres. All past
Aviation Fairs featured an aerobatic performance involving true masters
of the air. We had the chance to watch aerobatic shows with engine driven
aircraft, gliders, jet aircraft, aerobatic group and two years ago, we
witnessed for the first time a breathtaking aerobatic show of a
helicopter. We are very happy that we will be able to watch this very
interesting show at this year's Aviation Fair as well," said Jaroslav
Janda, the Aviation Fair organizer, on one of the spectacular shows.
"Red Bull has already confirmed that one of the aircraft starring at this
year's Aviation Fair will be the aerobatic helicopter Bölkow Bö105CB. The
aerobatic manoeuvres performed by this helicopter are possible because of
a unique construction of the rotor head. Its Austrian pilot Siegfried
Schwarz will perform turnovers which cannot be made on any other
helicopter type; moreover, there are very few pilots in the world who are
able and allowed to make them. There are only three aerobatic civil
helicopters in the world, and all of them in Red Bull colours," said Jan
Rudzinskyj, one of the Aviation Fair organizers. The Aviation Fair will
offer even more aerobatic performances as part of the almost six-hourlong aviation show, and also a varied programme on the ground with
several demonstrations and different activities for kids.
