eCommerce Walkthrough Product Overview The eCommerce product is a reliable and secure retail portal with real-time payment and shipping options. Open the eComm Builder & the Parent Site (in a new window) 2. Access the Temp Data tab in Hermes A. Generally, it is easier to work from the bottom of the TD upward, because there are smaller, more easily verified items at the end of the Temp Data B. Be sure to save any changes you make in the builder 3. Scroll to the bottom of the tab and check the “Notes to Jacksonville” A. Any requests in this area should be honored throughout the eComm site 4. In the eComm Builder, Selection Setup > Orders A. The information for this area is found under “Fulfillment Info” in TD B. Verify that the “Primary Destination” e-mail is the same as what’s listed in TD C. The “Secondary Destination” e-mail should be whatever address is listed on the parent site, or info@[customerswebsite] unless otherwise specified D. The builder should reflect only VISA and MASTERCARD when “Payment Processor” is selected in TD B. Click on the “Setup PayPal” tab when “PayPal” is selected i. ii. Verify that “PayPal Payments Standard” is selected, and that “PayPal Email” is the same as the Primary Destination e-mail listed in TD If the customer specified that they would like a “PayPal Express Account” in Notes to Jax, make sure that the “Alternative Payment Method – PayPale Express Checkout” box is selected. C. VISA and MASTERCARD should be listed by default when “Manual” is selected D. Be sure to save any changes you make 6. Select Product > Setup Taxes A. Multiple products with the same name should be denoted with numerals at the end of each URL The short description should include some, but not all of, the information in the long description. This is a preview of the product. a. Make sure that this information is spelled correctly and properly formatted, especially items with measurements B. Settings Tab i. ii. Sale Pricing, Affiliates, Taxes, Packing Slip Display Options, and Quantity Breaks information should be left at their default settings Shipping information should reflect any details provided in TD a. b. The “Charge Shipping” box should be checked unless the customer specified “No Shipping” Weight is calculated in pounds. If available, list the length, width, and height (in inches). Verify that the “Visit Our Online Store” verbiage is included at the bottom of the HP and that it links to the appropriate page a. ii. Please use your best judgment here. If the business is a charity organization and their store was created for accepting donations, this link should read something like, “Click Here to Donate to Our Cause” Verify that the Store Page is listed in the navigation bar a.
