TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PRIVATE TUTORING
1. Students are expected to:

Complete all given homework
Attend all scheduled classes
Behave in an appropriate manner to both the teachers and other
students.
2. SC Language Solutions reserves the right to discontinue tuition for any
reasonable cause.
3. Fees for tuition are R ___________ per session, payable monthly in
advance directly into the bank account provided.
4. Scheduled classes will always take place on the day and time and
venue specified in the letter that accompanies these terms and
conditions, unless a tutorial is arranged for a time that is mutually
convenient to both tutor and student. Lessons will continue until a
mutually agreed termination date.
5. Lessons not cancelled within 24 hours’ notice will be billed to the client.
6. If the teacher doesn’t attend a scheduled class without notice, the
student will get 1 hour free lesson by the same teacher. No refund
applies.
7. If the student comes late to the scheduled class, the time will be
calculated according to the scheduled time. In such cases, the teacher
may refuse to extend the class. If the teacher agrees to extend, the
student has to pay for the time extended based on the hourly rates
described at the condition 3 above.
8. If the teacher comes late to the scheduled class, the teacher will owe
the student free time equal to the amount by which the teacher is late.
In such cases, the student may refuse to continue the class after the
scheduled finish time. The student will keep the right of free time equal
to the amount by which the teacher is late.
