Carlton Forum Swimming Club Presents Club Championships 2016 (Under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules of Swimming) ‘Club Champs’ ASA Licensed Level 4 - 18th & 19st June – registration 4EM161013 2nd & 3rd July – 4EM161015 www.cfsc.co.uk CONDITIONS 1. The Club Champs shall be open to any member of the club who is eligible within these promoters’ conditions and the meaning of ASA law. 2. The promoter is Carlton Forum Swimming Club ‘the club’. 3. Invitation to swim in the “club champs” shall be at the discretion of the Committee together with the Chief Coach. Small pool learn-to-swim swimmers may enter the novice race at their coach’s discretion and may only enter the novice race once. Large pool learn-to-swim swimmers may enter the novice race and other events at their coach’s discretion but again may only enter the novice race once. 4. Entry to the meet shall be via the official gala application forms supplied by the chief coach or appropriate coach for the learn-to-swim swimmers. 5. All events are detailed in the meet schedule. 6. Age as at 31st December 2016. 7. Races will be swum with all age groups combined and swimmers seeded by entry time. All Races are heat declared winner. 8. Awards will be presented to all appropriate race winners in each age group at our club presentation evening on 16th September 2016 (provisional date). 9. Entry Processing: a. The entry fee is £4.50 per gala and must be included when submitting the entry form. b. The closing date for entries is Tuesday 17th May 2016. Late entries will not be accepted (subject to Chief Coach’s waiver). Swimmers entering a race on the day of the gala (subject to Chief Coach’s waiver) may only swim for a time and are not eligible for a title or trophy. c. The submitted times will not be changed unless an administrative error has been made by CFSC. d. Refund of entry fees will be made for rejected entries or where the entry to an event has had to be restricted. For any other reason refund of entry fees will only be made up until the closing date for entries or at the discretion of the promoter. 10. All Swimmers taking part shall be a registered, fully paid up member of the club for at least 60 days prior to the meet (subject to Chief Coach’s waiver). 11. Accepted entries: a. A draft programme will be published as soon as possible after the closing date. b. The swimmer is responsible for checking the entries and reporting errors, discrepancies and known withdrawals to the event administrator. 12. Withdrawal prior to the day of meet: Withdrawals may be made to the contact details given on the web site. 13. Withdrawal on the day of meet: Final notice of the withdrawal of any swimmers shall be reported to the recorder, before the warm up prior to the start of the session. Withdrawals must be reported using the official notification forms provided. 14. In line with ASA and Carlton Forum Leisure Centre guidelines, photography is only acceptable on poolside if the declaration book has been signed. This can be found at the recording desk. No photography is allowed in the changing rooms at any time. Mobile telephones MUST NOT be used on poolside OR in the changing rooms. 15. Any conditions not covered in the above will be at the discretion of the promoter. 16. Neither the organisers nor the pool management will be able to accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
